THE PERFECTIONIST PARENTS

People in conflict or under-pressure dream about perfectionism. But trying to be perfect creates its own stresses. The so-called perfectionist parents expect too much from their children which makes the little souls restless and emotionally upset. This adds more pressure than the children can face. Respect the child by understanding the demands he already faces in the normal stages of growing up. Teaching a child too early deprives him of his childhood. Play is the way a child learns and the way he sorts out what works for him/her. When he/she finds it on his/her own he/she gains a sense of competence.
